What do I need to clean?
Throw all bedding and teddy bears in dryer 30 minutes. Lice off the head only survive about 24 hours and are on the deathbeds after 12. So anywhere your child had sat in 24 hours give a light vacuum or threw a sheet on couch, or chair for 24 hours. Also nits cannot hatch off the head. They need the warmth of the head to hatch so they are not a concern. More info

If a lice crawled onto your head (head to head contact) and you’re not the same blood type as the person they first fed on, when they feed their intestinal tract will explode. So the female louse will lay up to 5 eggs before they feed. So you can have up to 5 eggs and have no live lice.
